By the way, this newspaper has an amazing tone, very different from its western counterparts. Facts are told bluntly, the journalist’s opinions expressed in between the news. It’s really refreshing, far away from our boring hypocrisy/neutrality. Is it an awkward translator, or a Russian way of making journalism ?

The HTML hour
I’ve been trying for long to understand why those hellish cells in my HTML tables never keep the size I order them to have, and why dragging them is SO unsuccessful. I’ve seen a lot of bla-bla about transparent 1×1 pixel gifs, but never quite get it — people talk about it as if everybody know what they mean.
Eventually, I’ve found this page, which explains the whole stuff perfectly. I turns out to be very simple. A must-read if you want your pages to look a bit serious.
