Seen the new archive list on the sidebar ? Cool, uh ?..

My host doesn’t provide Server-Side Includes. Blogger has no tags for such a directory in the main page : its archive index must be a separate file. So there was no easy way to include the list on my main page, at first sight.

But the hack was (at least !) inspired to me by canclaux. It’s quite clever : make Blogger generate Javascript code instead of an HTML index, and include the script on the main page with a <script src= »archive_index.htm »>. Neat.
