Client/Server not dead !

Hi you all blogger users. This is a great day.

Thanks to the new blogger.com API (nevermind) Sigfus R Oddson has released an (open source) Delphi tool called blogBuddy, which is a very small app that lets you type your posts and send them to Blogger through its own interface — no need to go to the website anymore. Go see the screenshots if you can’t get a word of my explanation.

Two main advantages : first, the chance to lose a post before sending it is more limited than ever (pffew…) ; two, it may be possible to bypass the web interface if it’s down and to connect directly to the back end blogger server (it it’s up).

Plus every coming feature that will improve the app (it’s still early beta), such as archive post browsing, « draft » posts saving, automatic conversion of special characters to their HTML entities, and so on…
